Your Fall notebook collection is lovely! I love to hear how other people use their journals and notebooks, because there are no right or wrong ways -- just new ways to explore. Thank you for sharing this!
Oh, I LOVE reading about people’s notebooks!! This leftie can’t get along with spiral notebooks 😆 so I use the marbled composition notebooks for my various needs. I wish I could consolidate into one vessel but I always seem to have a few on the go 🙄✨😎.
Becca, I loved reading about your relationship to notebooks and journals over the years! I was also given one of those little diaries with lock and key and no direction as to how I could use those pages to record my daily life. The assumption was to write about the events of the day and I could have used it in so many other ways if I had been shown some options! Also, like you, I now use a spiral notebook in a similar way - to catch a little of everything. But I also have many other journals and notebooks, too. Once I found my way in to writing, it bloomed into a bouquet.
I love hearing about so many of us who have found their way to writing through notebooks of one kind of another. It is such a fulfilling practice for me, I’m glad it is for you as well.
I wondered the purpose of my notebooks recently, too! There was journaling during prayer time, but then separate notebooks for writing practices served a similar purpose. I tried to delineate one space of writing from another, but it's all blended, isn't it? Today, I have three separate notebooks going but know it doesn't matter which of these I use and when. Having a space for the words is what matters. It was clarifying to me how important this is when I read your posts. Thank you for sharing!

My grandson has some spiral notebooks made for lefties! And I like the designs on these bound notebooks. https://www.target.com/p/decomposition-book-80pg-college-ruled-composition-notebook-designs-may-vary/-/A-16966889#lnk=sametab

I once kept several different notebooks too, but I like having pared it down to one. Helps my aging brain find things!
